Architecture and Construction

ECO Design and Build of Mexico is a full service architectural design and construction company.  We design and build custom residential homes in Baja. 

Our projects are envisioned and constructed utilizing a design build team. This allows us to design and build the home or building that fits your needs, style and budget while assuring that architectural intent is fully realized in quality construction.

With thoughtful architecture and the most sensible building materials, we design and build green homes that function well, are comfortable and are good for the environment.

ECO also services sub-division, commercial, retail, hotel and restaurant projects.

Serena

Serena is a bluff top home in El Sagrento. This 4 bedroom home overlooks the Sea of Cortez.  The home features traditional Mexican style in a modern floor plan.

The grand stairway from the first to second floor is open to a dome venting cupola above allowing for passive airflow. The pool is solar heated. Covered and uncovered terraces provide outdoor living by the sea.

Corsair

Corsair is a modern 2175 sf home in the South Beach Community of La Ventana. Corsair was designed with family and guests in mind.

Included in its relatively small footprint are 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower room, great room kitchen, living and dining space, dedicated internet work space, laundry room, 3rd floor loft and a  garage.

The home is designed with an internal stairway for natural air flow and cooling.  The third floor loft takes advantage of the amazing view while providing a quiet retreat protected from the elements.

The patent-pending EF BlockTM transforms standard recycled polystyrene and plastics into durable, fire-resistant and highly insulative blocks that are easy to stack and shape into just about every construction design you can imagine.  The EF BlockTM will have an everlasting positive impact on your lifestyle and our environment through strength in construction, thermal energy savings, and the recycled use of materials that would otherwise be sent to landfills.  EF BlockTM is quick and easy to construct and, once constructed, various fascias can be applied to customize the appearance of finished walls. 

During construction, EF BlockTM panels are stacked without the need for mortared seams.  The panels are easy to cut and shape to fit nearly any design.  As the EF BlockTM panels are stacked, rebar is inserted in grid-work fashion throughout the cores, and then the cores are filled with concrete.  The result is custom-designed construction built to withstand fire, earthquakes, and pests while providing unbeatable insulative values.
